Idaho State Auto Insurance Crash Laws

idaho image by Allyson Ricketts from Fotolia.com Every Idaho driver must be properly insured at the time of a crash. Automobile crash laws in Idaho are very specific. For example, Idaho Statute 49-1301 states that anyone who causes an accident must stop at the accident scene or as close as possible and make every effort to remain there until all other provisions of the law regarding accidents are fulfilled. Auto insurance laws are similarly detailed. The two sets of laws overlap only briefly, however, so there are few state laws regarding auto insurance at the time of a crash.
